Cadence Sports is born.
Co-Founders Gary Metcalf and Brian Leto start Collie's parent company, Cadence Sports, in a South Austin, Texas garage. The dream was simply to start a 'sports company' and make a difference.
Cadence grows!
Over time, we have amassed an incredible portfolio of clients on both the management and infrastructure sides. Currently, Cadence manages 4 of the top 10 top cause-related cycling events plus numerous other running/walking/cycling projects. Our infrastructure division maintains 60,000+ feet of fencing and numerous structures that services 150+ events each year.
Pandemic. Collie is born.
Uh oh. March of 2020 was not a lot of fun! With the event industry on hold for an indefinite amount of time, we decided to act on an initiative that had been long discussed to fill a hole in our industry - develop a smart and intuitive event software. Now was the time. After all, time was on our side in 2020! The Collie idea was born and in September of 2020 we officially began early phases of development.
